Life Transformation – that is our purpose.
For 14 years, The Dwelling Place has provided safe shelter and comprehensive services leading to life transformation for women and children who are victims of domestic abuse. Our program gives women the tools they need to heal spiritually, emotionally and physically from the destruction of abuse, end the generational cycle of abuse, and become economically self-sufficient. The funds raised from our 14th Annual Gala will allow The Dwelling Place to continue protecting families and transforming lives.

Mike Hadley - Creative Director, Eagle Brook Church

Spontaneous and hilarious, you’ll find yourself smiling and laughing as Mike leads us through the evening. Besides being Creative Director at Eagle Brook Church, one of the area’s largest churches, Mike  has acted with local and national improv comedy troupes and still occasionally dabbles in commercial, event and theater acting.

The Steve Haines Band

Steve grew up being mentored in music by grass-roots, back woods, mountain-style musicians. From that experience he has taken a passion for deep harmonies, old songs, and fun music. Steve lives in Robbinsdale with his wife Heidi, their three young children and the beloved family dog, Piper. Steve currently serves at Eagle Brook Church as the Blaine Campus Worship Pastor.

Kevin Dalla Santa

Kevin Dalla Santa is a junior music and physics major at St. Olaf College. Hailing from northwest Washington, he is active in performing and accompanying both locally and at St. Olaf. Kevin also sings in Cantorei and has rung handbells in the St. Olaf Christmas Festival. Aside from music, he enjoys reading, hiking, and camping. Kevin hopes to pursue a career in science and recently interned in a geophysics research group studying Antarctic glacier melt.

 After surviving domestic abuse in her 19-year first marriage, Jesus’ transforming love brought Jody through a deep valley into healing and wholeness. With testimonies, stats and a moving video, she will show us where God is working and leading as we faithfully follow.  Come see and hear how God transforms lives at The Dwelling Place.
